Thor manages to kill Malekith and the Asgardians hand the Stone to the Collector. Centuries later, Jane Foster stumbles upon it in the film Thor: The Dark World. Bor, Thor’s grandfather, took the Stone away from him and hid it. The Reality Stone which was with a Dark Elf named Malekith. In Infinity War, Thanos gets the Tesseract from Loki, extracts the Space Stone and adds it to his Gauntlet. Loki steals the Tesseract again and leaves on the ship with Thor after Asgard is destroyed as part of Ragnarok. Loki shows up and steals the Tesseract and opens a portal with it to allow Chitauri’s to invade Earth. Project Pegasus is reinstated, and further testing is done on the Tesseract by Dr. Nick Fury and Captain Marvel fetch the Tesseract, but it’s swallowed by an alien cat which spits it back out in the end, and S.H.I.E.L.D repossesses it. The Tesseract, however, remains hidden in the space lab. Carol Danvers blows up this engine to absorb its energy to become Captain Marvel. She uses the Tesseract to build the light-speed engine. Project Pegasus is initiated to perform tests on the Tesseract.Ī Kree by the name Mar-Vell infiltrates Project Pegasus and relocates the Tesseract to her secret lab in space. Howard Stark retrieves the Tesseract and founds S.H.I.E.L.D. Captain America stops the Red Skull, and the Tesseract falls into the Ocean. He abuses its power to build weapons of mass destruction.
